What tan combat boots can you wear with the ACUs?

I know to look in 670-1 but besides the obvious, i wanted to know if anyone had a link showing pics of which boots are authorized. I know you cant have snicker or zipper combat boots, but whats the reg on the type of stitch that can be used.

Dang I did have a bunch of pictures in this email our SGM sent. I am trying to get it again cause I deleted it so I might be back to give it to you. But yea its gotta be what 8 or 10 inches and no side zipper. I got the 5.11 from lapolicegear.com for $140 and shipping is free. But what is better is that if the boot doesn't fit right you can ship it back for free and than the will ship the next boot back to you for free. It's a good website, but anyway the boots I got weren't on either "wear or not allowed to wear" so whatever. Yea the reg doesn't say to much its so broad I really didn't see anything about stitching in the reg. Give me a link to the boots your looking at.

Ok I see what your saying your talking about the stitches that hold the sole on? Actually my squad leader has those boots. And we don't have ate up people in our unit. So if they were she would have been told by now. So I'm saying your good no worries.
