Are Kenneth Cole New York shoes made in China now?
Are Kenneth Cole New York shoes made in China now? I own two old pairs of Kenneth Cole New York shoes that I purchased years ago that were made in Italy; and recently just purchased another pair, however this pair says it's made in China. I'm wondering if I bought fakes... or has Kenneth Cole decided to make their shoes in China now? By the way, my shoes are Kenneth Cole New York, specifically "Proof Positive."
Most shoes are being outsourced to China now, but some shoes (specifically the pricier ones) are still being manufactured in Italy and some in Romania. It sucks, it really does because out of 100 shoes made, 10-15 will be faulty and/or uncomfortable. It was a decision made by the new CEO, sad but true.
